Oh, you hop a little on your little left shoe

Hop eight times on your left foot

You hop a little on the right one too
Hop eight times on your right foot

You kick a button like the Scotch kids do
Kick left foot

Do the Hop Scotch Polka

Oh, you hop a little on your little left shoe

Hop eight times on your left foot
You hop a little on the right one too
Hop eight times on your right foot
You don't mind bouncing like a kangaroo
Hop eight times on both feet and hold hands up like a kangaroo
Do the Hop Scotch Polka
Hop on both feet with feet apart, then together, then apart, then together again
It's in and out among the maple trees
Put arms up in the air and turn around in a circle
It's up and down and then you wag your knees
Put hands on knees and bend knees up and down twice
Your head goes bobbin in the morning breeze
Alternate hopping on left and right foot four times while placing the other foot on the back of your leg (four hops)

Do the Hop Scotch Polka
